In my opinion, Peugeot salt and pepper grinders are simply the best in the market.
I love using grinders for my spices because no pre-packaged spices beat the freshly-ground ones. They instantly elevate any dish!
It’s been months since I purchased the set, and these haven’t failed me, unlike many grinders I’ve bought in the past.

The grinders from Peugeot come in 5 sizes – 5”, 7”, 9”, 12”, and 16”.
For everyday household use, I find the 9” grinder to be the most useful and functional. It holds a good amount of peppercorns and coarse salt crystals, so I don’t have to refill it often. And the 9” height can easily be tucked under most upper kitchen cabinets, making it easily accessible.

Mine is in white lacquer – pristine white with a glossy finish (not off-white).
I believe the grinders come in grey lacquer and black lacquer and chocolate (matte brown).

The grinder has 6 settings ranging from extra fine to coarse.
I especially like this feature for preparing various dishes, and this feature really highlights what the manual grinder needs to offer.
Many spices that come with the grinders don’t have these settings.

The grinding mechanism crushes peppercorns and salt crystals evenly, and I haven’t experienced malfunctions or cracking.

And about refilling the grinders.
I didn’t ask the sales representative about refilling the grinders because they were already filled with salt crystals and peppercorns. When the time came for refilling them, I had no idea where the refills would go.

You’ll need to twist the small caps, and they will come apart easily.
Once you’ve detached the cap and a circular top portion of the grinder, slowly refill the peppercorns and salt crystals into the opening.

The grinders make perfect gifts to cooks of any level from beginner to advanced, because salt and pepper are such indispensable spices in every kitchen.
And I just love the way they look in my kitchen next to my white Le Creuset utensil crock.
