I am beyond excited to own another Silver Cross stroller. I already own the Dune, a compact and contemporary stroller that is designed for city living, and I love it so much. When I needed another full-size stroller, I was obviously going with Silver Cross. The Reef is a multi-terrain stroller that screams comfort, luxury, and convenience.
Available in 4 fabric choices, the Reef is as refined as it is functional. I chose the Earth color since I own a Dune stroller in the Stone color.
The stroller comes fully assembled, so all you need to do is unbox the beauty and go where the adventures await you. The frame is so beautiful in person. The Dune is an impeccable stroller; however, the Reef stroller looks more elegant and is much more stable.
The Reef features a one-hand fold mechanism, which is so convenient when you're holding a baby or bags.
Once folded, I can easily load it in the trunk. It's not the lightest stroller, given that it's a full-size stroller; however, I've seen heavier strollers.
You can remove the seat unit and load the chassis and seat separately, as well. This significantly reduces the weight.
Once the stroller is folded, the handle doesn't touch the floor, which was a huge plus because I want to keep this stroller in as pristine condition as possible.
Just make sure to lower the handle height before folding the stroller. This beautiful vegan leather handle and my hands stay clean :)
Once the chassis is folded, the latch locks in the folded position. Unlock the latch when you are unfolding the chassis.
The handle is simply beautiful. The glossy black Silver Cross logo plate functions as a design accent and push button for folding the chassis.
The storage underneath has a generous capacity. It fits my diaper bag, a stroller blanket and a tote bag comfortably.
The pedal lock is easily accessible.
Look at these giant wheels! Stability is everything when it comes to full-size strollers as they are designed to accommodate even newborns. The Reef's multi-terrain tires are large, puncture proof and surrounded by springs for enhanced suspension. It's so easy to maneuver, and no matter how bumpy the road gets, it keeps the baby stable and disturbance-free.
You can insert a seat unit through this slot.
You can also install the bassinet. I used this folding bassinet when my baby was less than 3 months old and was too small to fit in the seat unit. I highly recommend getting this bassinet as well if you plan on taking a stroll with your newborn.
The seat unit has a beautiful matching fabric!
You can either have the seat face you (recommended for a younger child) or face front.
I've always seen black or gray strollers, and I am in love with the Earth color. It's so rich, dignified, and regal in person!
The blue dots on the side of the handle indicate the height of the handle.
And the Reef stroller also features the Genius™ harness system. The buckle is fully magnetic, and it's so convenient. I can securely snap the buckle using one hand. An extra free hand is always a plus when you're with a baby, isn't it?
You need to fit the handlebar through the handlebar slot, and the stroller's all set and ready to go.
The Reef's fabric has impeccable details. The textured fabric is one of the most luxurious I've seen in strollers.
Accented by the gold Silver Cross logo plaque, the Reef is everything I'd expect from a stroller and more.
Fully folded with the seat unit inserted, the Reef measures 28" (L) x 24" (W) x 12" (H). The chassis weighs 17.6 lbs, and the stroller seat weighs 9.9 lbs, totaling 27.5 lbs.
Endlessly refined and built for even the toughest roads, the Reef full-size stroller is a must-have for any parents who love the outdoors.
