I love this bouncer!
There are currently 2 types of bouncers available from Babybjörn - the Bouncer Balance Soft and the Bouncer Bliss. For the longest time, I couldn't figure out the difference between the two. They cost the same, and the cover materials didn't seem to explain the difference between the two as they both have similar multiple cover material options.
I finally found the answer to my dilemma - essentially, there's really no significant difference as Babybjörn explains that the only difference between the two is the color of the frame and the material of the accompanying fabric seat.
I went with the Balance Soft Bouncer in grey beige/white in mesh, and I couldn't be happier.
Babybjön's bouncer is intended for 0-2 years and 8-29 lbs.
As the baby grows, the bouncer can be used as a chair.
I highly recommend the mesh cover because it has better air circulation, and therefore, doesn't cause the baby to overheat.
The bouncer can be used right away without any installation or assembly.
Bouncers are great because the tilted recline helps the baby to feel more stable and prevents throw-ups. It's much better than laying the baby flat!
It can also be used to entertain and soothe the baby. It is a manual bouncer, though. I preferred the bouncer to be manual because it meant simpler operation and therefore less reading, haha.
You can adjust the recline of the bouncer using the lever on the bottom.
The Balance Soft Bouncer offers 3 recline positions.
The harness is also easy and intuitive to use. The elastic loop fits through the buckle and securely holds the baby.
I use this bouncer to soothe the baby while I'm doing dishes or light chores around the house. It keeps the baby entertained and occupied, all the while helping the baby's digestion.
Babybjön also has toys for its bouncer.
The Googly Eyes toy for the Babybjörn bouncers is a fun and interactive toy to keep your little one occupied.
I got mine in a pastel color.
You can easily attach the toy to the bouncer - it is tension-operated.
The toy is high-quality, and it stays on well. The flowers, googly eyes, and beads spin and make fun noises that my baby seems to enjoy.
