Smeg Kettle - The Height of Italian Craftsmanship

I love my Smeg kettle, and there is nothing like it. Its retro design, reliable performance, and variable temperature settings make this kettle one of the most cherished and used appliances in my kitchen.

I own a chrome-colored variable temperature kettle like this one, and it is a workhorse in my busy kitchen.

Currently, Smeg has 3 types of kettles available - a regular kettle, a variable temperature kettle, and a mini. Each has distinct advantages and use cases, so I can't rank them; however, if you're looking for an all-purpose and comprehensive kettle to use in the kitchen, the variable temperautre kettle is the one.

The variable temperature kettle will be particularly appreciated by a tea person, as different types of tea requires different brewing temperatures. It allows you to set temperatures from 122°F to 212°F, so that you can prepare the perfect cup of tea.

The kettle consists of the electric base with controllers - power on/off, toggle for changing temperatures, and a keep warm button.

Shift the toggle sideways to increase/decrease the temperatures.

The regular kettle has the same retro Smeg look and is available in more finishes.

This is a rose gold finish - what a unique and beautiful color. If you have copper accents in your kitchen, this would be perfect for you.

The regular kettle boils water to 212°F. It is a preferred choice if you're looking for a kettle with the basic boiling function.

Both kettles have 57 oz capacity (7 cups).

Unlike the variable temperature kettle, the toggle is a power button in the regular kettle. Shift the toggle up and down to boil water and stop the operation.

Lastly, meet the mini kettle, recommended for smaller spaces or break rooms. This tiny but mighty kettle holds 3 cups (0.8L), which is perfect for a home office, hotel room or break room.

Just like the larger ones, the mini kettle has the same 360-degree rotating base, so that you can position the kettle however you want it to boil water quickly. Just mount the kettle, press a button to boil.

How adorable is this?

Smeg occasionally collaborates with designers and fashion houses, and they are works of art!

Take this Dolce & Gabbana x Smeg electric kettle, for instance. This collection, aptly named "Sicily is My Love", pays homage to the striking beauty of Italian design. Isn't this beautiful?

Smeg's appliances never let me down.
