I shop a lot at Trader Joe’s because their prices are reasonable, and many food items are delicious. I’ve been trying out different dog treats from Trader Joe’s, and these 3 are my dog’s favorites.
Clearly, he prefers jerky-type treats over biscuits.
All of these are dried chicken breast meats, and I love how they smell fresh and tasty. I’ve thrown away many bags of treat jerky because they smelled awful and like preservatives. How hard is it to dry strips of chicken meat in the oven without adding nasty chemicals?
It takes a much longer time for my dog to finish a wrap than the strip because it includes a dried rawhide in the center. A strip of chicken breast fillet is wrapped around the rawhide, making my dog go nuts.
The lists of ingredients are short, and I can actually pronounce the ingredients – chicken fillet and rawhide.
These protein-rich treats will make great snacks for puppies to support their muscle growth.
These two are essentially the same thing but in different shapes.

This is my first time trying the Smoked Chicken Tenders, and these smell like real barbecued chicken! And of course, my dog is drooling next to me right now.
These chicken tenders are dried at a low temperature and smoked over natural hardwood to make them extra delicious and tasty. Although I haven’t tried them myself, I feel like I can eat them.
Because they have low moisture content, always make sure the dogs have access to fresh drinking water. I’ve noticed that my dog always reaches for water after finishing a treat.
