Yeti's Tundra Hard Coolers are every camper's dream coolers.

Built to last and customizable, these coolers are totally worth it.

Yeti's Tundra comes in 12 different varieties, differing in capacity and portability. I didn't need the wheeled cooler because I was mainly going to use it to keep my frozen groceries from melting in summer. I wasn't sure about the size of the cooler, though, so I went into a store and saw them in person. I was initially thinking about buying the 45 Hard Cooler, but the interior wasn't as big as I initially thought. So I went with a size larger - the 65 Hard Cooler.

Since the cooler was going to sit in my car's trunk for the most part, I got the color that matched my trunk color. I was hoping for a fun color like pink or teal, but it wasn't available at the time of my purchase. Regardless, this charcoal color is very chic, and I love it.

The Tundra 65 Hard Cooler keeps a camping weekend for four and fits 77 cans (only) and 58 lbs of ice (only). Yeti recommends the 65 to everyone as it is an all-around, most versatile cooler.

These are the features that come with the 65 cooler, and I'll explain them in detail.

The T-Rex Lid Latches are patented, heavy-duty latches that keep the lid closed. These fit snugly for a secure and tight fit but opens smoothly with a bit of force.

I grabbed those latches to lift the lid, but you can also slide your hand in the middle front of the lid.

Yeti coolers come with a 5 year warranty in case something happens.

Years ago, I had some issues with Yeti's pet food bowl (the color was stripping off), and Yeti quickly responded to my complaint and arranged a replacement, so I know they honor their warranty.

The cooler has carry handles on both sides; however, you need 2 people to lift and carry it because the cooler's so long, especially if the cooler is filled with contents. It is also quite heavy even when it's empty.

Inside, you get the owner's kit which consists of care instructions, warranty information and some Yeti stickers.

It includes some helpful tips on keeping your contents cold longer.

Yeti's Tundra coolers come with a removable basket.

This stays elevated, so you can keep your lunches cold while keeping them dry (in case you fill the cooler with ice and drinks).

This is what the inside of the cooler looks like. Because of the padding for insulation, the inside is not as larger as you'd expect. It can probably fit 3 paper grocery bags with ice underneath.

Checking the size of the cooler once again - 65, yup.

There is a draining hole on the right bottom side of the cooler.

This feature allows you to drain water without lifting the cooler - a must have feature for these large, heavy coolers.

Yeti also sells various Tundra accessories to make your camping, fishing or tailgating more convenient.

I added this divider to keep my items organized.

There are 2 types of dividers - short and long.

The short one (the one I got) divides the cooler vertically, and the long one divides the cooler horizontally. You can insert the divider through the pre-cut indents.

The basket fits inside the one of the divided section.

It will not fit, however, if you have the long divider inserted.

I also got some Yeti Ice.

On Yeti's website, you can customize the number and shape of Yeti Ice based on your cooling needs. There are smaller and narrower 1 lb Yeti Ice, so you can buy four 1 lb ice instead of one 4 lbs ice, depending on your needs. I opted for two 4 lbs ice, and they fit underneath the cooler just fine.

It's now all set and ready to go -

Yeti's coolers may seem overpriced, but compared to other coolers, the Tundras definitely stand out.
