Thanks to Coronavirus, we are now washing our hands 83294 times a day. I’ve been frustrated with having to continually wash my hands. They were getting so dry that it was painful. I’ve been looking for hand soaps with moisturizing properties, and Aesop’s Resurrection Hand Soap got my attention.
I had to order it directly from Aesop website because it was sold out on Nordstrom, Saks, Neiman Marcus, and pretty much all the other retailers in the US.
Bought the duo - hand soap and balm set.
I now understand why it was completely sold out because it’s seriously so much better than regular hand soaps in the market. It doesn’t dry out your hands as much, and you get this soothing, calming aroma as a bonus.
Infused with mandarin rind, rosemary leaf, and cedar atlas, the soap features a very neutral and spa-like fragrance. According to Aesop, the formula contains orange, rosemary, and lavender oils to keep one’s hands from drying out, leaving them effectively cleansed yet well-moisturized.
I still need to apply hand cream after washing my hands (otherwise, it’s not soap!), but the dryness has been addressed noticeably and considerably. With regular soaps, my hands felt tight as soon as I washed my hands; however, with the Resurrection Hand Soap, the dryness is tolerable. The matching hand balm helps a lot, too.
I’ve been happily washing my hands lately. With some help from hand cream, this hand soap is an excellent soap for keeping my hands cleansed and moisturized. Aesop’s Resurrection Hand Soap makes a simple everyday task like washing one’s hands into something to enjoy.
