I love Baccarat, and this is the latest home decor piece I got from Baccarat.

I was in a Baccarat store in Seoul, Korea, and the store was so tastefully decorated. They were using a whole building to themselves, and the main floor was spacious with beautiful Baccarat pieces on display.

I had so much fun checking out barware, decorative objects, and unique pieces that Baccarat collaborated with Korean artists. What caught my eye the most were these zoo animals.

For Baccarat, Jaime Hayon reinvented the way one collects animal figurines and endowed them with a genuine box function. The base of these cute storage boxes is made of Lladro porcelain, and the whimsical animal heads are sculpted in Baccarat crystal, embodying Hayon's humorous and imaginative interpretation of zoo animals.

I left the store with 2 animals - Zoo Elephant and Zoo Duck. I gifted the elephant to my parents-in-law, and they loved it.

The elephant is a larger piece than the duck, and it was slightly more expensive. It made sense, though, as it holds a lot more, too. My parents-in-law are using the elephant as a Nespresso capsule storage, and they love how substantial and impactful the piece is.

These Baccarat Zoo animals come packaged in the largest red boxes!

Even now, I can't believe I carried these all the way through the airport, haha. But the box had plenty of padding to prevent the fragile piece from shattering during transit, and all in all, my duck arrived safely in the United States.

The gold interior of the base reflects light through the duck head, and it's so magnificent.

The shiny gold and white of the porcelain base are quintessential Lladro colors.

The base is not as heavy as the crystal animal head.

Because the head of made of crystal, it's quite heavy.

I still haven't decided what I'd store inside.

Currently, this beautiful duck is sitting on the sideboard in my living room, and it's just sublime.

Love Baccarat objects.
