El Barrio Cantina was doing the Cinco de Mayo brunch specials. I was told that the menu was slightly different than its regular offerings. I was slightly disappointed because I really wanted to try their fried chicken sandwich; however, the dishes I got turned out to be amazing, so no regrets there.

I got fresh oysters for appetizers, and it was fresh and zesty.
The special platter was massive and enough to fill two adults contently. It contained fried salmon chunks, stir-fried shrimp, skirt steak, french fries, and cornbread - surf and turf! The golden-brown cornbread was toasted to perfection, crispy to the last bite.
The fried salmon nuggets were filling and satisfactory.
The restaurant should make this into its regular menu!
