I was forever searching for Hermès' Chaine D'Ancre dinnerware. I own a teapot and tea cups from this collection, and I have been wanting to grow my collection.

I regret not buying them sooner because the collection is discontinued and I now must resort to third-party sellers.

Fortunately, I discovered Lucy Zahran & Co., a small boutique store in the Grove, Los Angeles.

This store is an authorized retailer of select high-end brands such as Lalique, Hermès, Baccarat, or Herend. Lucy Zahran, the owner of the establishment, is a warm and sincere woman who goes above and beyond to source what her clients are looking for.

You are greeted by this magnificent chandelier (could it be Baccarat?), and you are going to be mesmerized by the menagerie of collectibles, figurines, and dinnerware.

How are these highly sought-after Hermès pieces in stock?

The store also has an exquisite collection of Herend figurines. The back of the store has a lot of one-of-a-kind pieces, so if you're into fine china and limited-edition porcelain figures, this store should be your go-to store.

Dazzling Baccarat bar glasses!

These Bernardaud plates are produced in collaboration with Marc Chagall, and they are so beautiful in person. I was in awe.

There are 6 different illustrations in the dinner plate collection, and the store has the full set. Each dinner plate measures 10.5".

Anyway, when I inquired about the Chaine D'Ancre Platinum dinnerware, Lucy said she had a few dinner plates and mugs left. Considering how many times I visited Hermès for those and left empty-handed, I was elated to discover this store. I also wanted to get a cake platter in the same pattern, and she told me at first it was impossible to get it. A few weeks later, she called and told me that she was able to source one in France!

Yay! Let me go to my happy place.

I got 4 dinner plates, 2 mugs, and 1 cake platter from the Chaine D'Ancre collection. The collection finds inspiration from the iconic Hermès link, symbolizing exploration and adventure.

This beautiful porcelain mug holds 300 ml, and I find it to be an ideal size for my morning coffee. Like all Hermès mugs and drinkware, it is ultra-lightweight.

Next, the dinner plates!

The dinner plate is simple but timeless. The chain link on the rim of the plate emphasizes the food without stealing the show.

The screen-printed platinum chain is the definition of understated luxury.

The plates are sold as a set of two.

Everything looks tasty.

The adorned rim is like jewelry for the food, haha.

And finally the cake platter!

There are so many uses for this platter. I'm thinking about using it as a tray for finger food if I'm in the mood for afternoon tea, as a cheese tray when entertaining, or as a fruit or dessert platter. The long, rectangular shape makes this platter so versatile and useful.
