I’ve gone through countless Pinterest and Instagram photos to find the “perfect” pendant for my house. It’s been both exciting and daunting because I had to think about a) the general theme of the house, b) price, c) design, and d) weight. When my husband and I first bought the house, many traditional chandeliers were installed. They were brand new; however, the traditional vibe somehow made the house look darker and dated.
I fell in love with these pendants when I first saw them at Neiman Marcus. These are called the “Random Lights” by Moooi, a Dutch design company. I was able to find a few online retailers, and if you’re interested in checking them out in person, Design Within Reach carries them.
The pendant comes in 3 sizes (small, medium, and large) and 2 colors (white and black).
You can also choose to go with incandescent or LED. Because I wanted to brighten the house, I went with white, and I’m obsessed with these!
These beautiful pendants look the best when they are bunched together, so I tried to recreate that look by installing these pendants in the foyer, staircase, and dining room. This is the view from my entryway, and these pendants really bring the spaces together.
I’m not a fan of all matchy-matchy, but these pendants are very unique in design and the spaces are close together, so I think they turned out okay.
They were delivered in the largest boxes you can imagine, but you’ll be surprised at how light and airy the pendant is!
My father came to help us out when we were installing them, and we needed a giant ladder!
The pendant features gossamer threads that remind me of candy I used to have as a child.

It has a small hole that is just large enough to fit one hand comfortably for a bulb-changing purpose.
