I love MacKenzie Childs, and I've been slowly growing my collection.
MacKenzie Childs' Courtly Check collection is so whimsical and unique - the perfect accent to any kitchen. There are other collections from MacKenzie Childs as well; however, the Courtly Check is my favorite. It's also the most iconic.
First, the kettle!
The Enamel Tea Kettle is probably one of the most popular Courtly Check items, and I still see them on Instagram, perfectly staged on top of a stove.
It adds a finishing touch to a clean kitchen, and I actually use this kettle a lot.
The kettle comes in 2 sizes; 2-Quart and 3-Quart. Mine is in 2-Quart.
I liked the look of the 2-Quart kettle better - the 3-Quart kettle was too chunky and wide, in my opinion, and the 2-Quart turned out to be the perfect size for my needs.
The heavy-gauge steel underbody is hand painted in the signature Courtly Check pattern.
The slight variation is what makes these pieces so special.
The next one in my collection is the Enamel Utensil Holder.
Accented with the bronzed stainless steel logo plate and rim, this utensil holder is the perfect container for any kitchen utensils - a slotted spoon, an awkwardly shaped spatula, or a soup ladle.
I love how tall the holder is.
Some utensil holders are too short, and that causes the utensils to look cluttered and messy.
MacKenzie Childs' utensil holder is much taller than regular utensil holders, and everything looks so tidy and put together.
Lastly, the cookie jar!
Oh boy, where do I even begin?
This jar is so useful and pretty. The uses for this jar is endless - from dog treats to freshly baked cookies, this cookie jar is truly versatile.
The lid is made of enamel, and the jar itself is made of glass.
The jar can be washed in the dishwasher.
The lid is also hand painted and is topped with a faux-cinnabar knob, creating the classic MacKenzie Childs look.
The transparent glass body showcases the contents and invites everyone to grab a treat.
