A good side table is more than a functional piece of furniture next to a seating area - it accessorizes your living area while providing a convenient surface to rest your favorite drinks, books, or gadgets. I prefer a side table with a cantilever base as it can be neatly tucked beside a sofa or chair. I'm a fan of Restoration Hardware, and its 1930s Martini Round Side Tables are timeless and classic.

According to RH, the table's "clean geometry reflects the design aesthetic of early 20th-century Europe and America, when Victorian flourishes gave way to Modernist ideas of understated elegance".

The simple geometric shape of the tabletop is repeated in the base of the table, and they are connected by a single pole, resulting in a strikingly simple yet sophisticated silhouette.

The side table is available in 3 sizes - 8", 10", and 14", and the dimensions are as follows.

You can choose from 3 finish options.

Personally, among the 3, the Polished Nickel finish was my least favorite, as its polished and shiny finish showed every smudge and fingerprint, haha. I own the Antique Brass and Bronze side tables, though, and I absolutely adore them.

The Martini side table is also available in the square variation.

This is the 8" Martini Round Side Table in Antique Brass.

This petite-sized table is ideal for resting a glass or two, and it's perfect next to a lounge chair or an accent chair. It also works great next to a smaller sofa.

The "T" shaped pole in the back functions as a carry handle, so you can easily move it from one sitting area to another. If you host a lot of gatherings or parties, you need this side table.

It comfortably holds a large mug, but it can fit 2 glasses if two people are chatting side-by-side.

Crafted entirely of metal, I've gotten so many compliments on this beauty.

I own the larger table in the Bronze finish.

The color is very close to black, with a touch of oil-rubbed bronze. You can catch a glimpse of the bronze patina at certain angles and light.

I recommend using coasters under beverages to prevent any marks and stains. I am also guilty of not using coasters every time, and the stains came right off when I cleaned them with a wet cloth.

Because my coffee table's not the largest, these side tables get used daily for resting drinks, devices, and snacks. Must-have items in my house that are also elegant and beautiful.
