It can vacuum and mop simultaneously, wash the mop by itself, and empty the bin.
For a person who is a little obsessed with squeaky clean floors, this is too good to be true.
To be honest, I was definitely expecting some hiccups. I know most robot vacuums are good at mapping the house and vacuuming the space with precision; however, mopping is an uncharted territory. Roborock claims the S7 Max Ultra can mop while vacuuming, significantly reducing the robot's runtime. It can also wash the mop in between and after the cleaning job. It even dries the mop and bottom of the dock to prevent the funky smell. Literally, all you need to do is refill the fresh water tank and empty out the dirty water tank.
The docking station of the S7 Max Ultra is substantially larger than other robot vacuums with a self-emptying feature to accommodate the water tanks.
There are 2 water tanks - dirty water and clean water tanks. You refill the clean water tank with fresh, tap water - this will be used to wet and mop the floors. The dirty water tank is where all the soiled water goes.
Each tank is labeled.
On the right side of the docking station is the dust bag.
You can replace the dust bag on an as-needed basis.
This is where the robot charges and washes its mop. The robot actually parks backward when it's washing the mop, as the pad is located in the rear end of the robot.
It is available in 2 colors - white and black.
At the time of my purchase, it only came in black. It does show dust and scuffs more easily, but it is sleeker. Honestly, I like both colors.
You can manage your maps, robot settings, scheduling, and mop/vacuum settings on the Roborock app.

It can also detect carpeted floors and rugs. When the S7 Max Ultra detects a carpet, it lifts its mop and stops the water floor for carpet vacuuming.
I poured some ground coffee to test its effectiveness. My floor felt clean, but I wasn't sure just how well it was performing because my floor had never been too dirty.
I was skeptically staring at the robot as it was approaching the mess, fully expecting it to leave a trail of ground coffee or smear it as it moved.
