I’ve tried several rich eye creams that felt like hardened butter. However, I instantly fell in love with this eye concentrate. Many creams felt super rich and oily, which was okay because I have dry skin anyway, but what really bothered me was the skin pulling. Because they had such a hard texture, in winter when my eyes really need that extra nourishment, it was so difficult to apply them. I had to melt it with my fingers and apply them, otherwise, I’d pull my delicate eye areas – nonsense.

The first impression I got was how small the bottle was! I guess I was expecting a full serum-sized bottle just by looking at the online photo. But considering usual eye creams come in 0.5oz or smaller jars, it’s a pretty generous amount (0.67 oz). Still, thicker eye creams will last longer; however, I really like this liquid consistency and the cool applicator that comes with the concentrate.

The Light-Pearl Eye Illuminator has a serum-like texture that is runny. The concentrate goes on so smoothly and there is virtually no skin pulling. I hardly need to use my fingers because of the teardrop applicator that comes with the concentrate.

The direction instructs you to swirl the applicator along the opening to remove any excess and apply the concentrate directly around your eye area.

This applicator doubles as a massaging tool, and when used consistently, the Eye Illuminator reduces dark circles, puffiness, fine lines, and wrinkles.

In Summer, I keep the Eye Illuminator in a fridge.
The applicator stays really cool and refreshing.
