Nothing is more frustrating than a stuck-on baked mess.

The cleanup is a nightmare, and if you are using a decorative cake pan, the result is probably a messy cake that’s not at all presentable. It defeats the whole purpose of using a decorative cake mold. I used to avidly use PAM. While it worked great on my waffle maker, I was afraid to use it on my cake pans ever since one of my friends told me it ruined her non-stick cake pan. Instead of PAM, she recommended Bak-Klene.

So I’ve switched to Bak-Klene ZT Nonstick Baking Spray (and I don’t know how I pronounce Bak-Klene), and I’m very satisfied with how my cakes come out.

The mixture ensures the cake mix from sticking to the pan and preserves the browning rate and crust quality.

And the spray nozzle dispenses the contents evenly without clumping or getting stuck.

The spray is made from canola, vegetable, and mineral oils.

It might be difficult to tell just how effective the Bak-Klene is if you’re using a nonstick pan, but it truly shines when you bake with ceramic or glass bakeware.

I use my ceramic Le Creuset rectangular cake pan to bake brownies, and nothing gets stuck on the surface!

Although my nonstick pans are labeled as dishwasher safe, I still hand wash them to preserve their coating and performance. I was worried that the spray would leave a greasy film that was difficult to remove; however, cleaning it was surprisingly not bad. I lightly scrub the pan with a non-scratching dish scrubber and mild dish detergent, and that’s it.
