How I waited for this for months! 

I've been wanting this corkscrew for so long, but I was hesitant to purchase it due to its rather high price point. I've been using the corkscrew I got from Ikea a decade ago, so it seemed like an unnecessary purchase. But the purchase was totally worth it, and the mechanism is so smooth and elegant. 

It comes in several finishes, but I chose the black & wood as it matches my bar sink hardware. 

It includes a storage pouch. 

The beautiful matte-black corkscrew is at home! 

You can tell by its substantial weight that it has excellent performance. Heavier corkscrews tend to be more stable when you open the bottle. It doesn't slide around and has a better grip.

It virtually requires no effort, and it is so easy to use. 

Every part of this corkscrew is metal. The wood accents on the handle are screwed on the metal handle, so the handle itself is very sturdy. 

Smooth mechanism! 

You can store it in the canvas bag it comes with. It fits nicely inside and also prevents it from getting scratched. 

This is how you use the corkscrew. You just need to push the lever down to remove the cork. 

It comes with a conditioning oil in between uses. 

The black and wood corkscrew is the perfect color for my home bar. It matches my Brizo faucet and Simplehuman soap dispenser. So chic! 

I think if the finish were to be in shiny black, it wouldn't have been this elegant as it would've shown fingerprints easily.
