Hand-woven baskets are every organizer’s dream. They magically hide clutter but keep everyday items within reach. If you’re putting away necessities (but not always pretty to look at just hanging on the floors) but they’re not easily accessible, that defeats the whole purpose of the organization, right? That’s why I love hand-woven utility baskets so much. They go well with most interior styles, are so functional, and give a space a uniform look.

There are so many ways you can utilize these baskets. People commonly use them in mudrooms or bathrooms to house miscellaneous knickknacks or extra towels, but really the only limit is your imagination. Storing extra throws in the living room, and organizing a pantry or bookshelf using these baskets are a few uses that come to mind.

The Savannah Utility Baskets come in 2 sizes – medium and large. They are pretty standard in dimensions so they can fit on most shelves or under benches, etc. But I would definitely check the dimensions first. Here are the dimensions below:

Medium: 12.5” (w) x 10” (d) x 8” (h)

Large: 16” (w) x 13” (d) x 10.5” (h)

The baskets have low-profile handles.

They don’t stick out and add to the height or width. This is a good thing because some baskets with protruding handles don’t quite fit right and can look messy.

The baskets are very tightly woven, so I wouldn’t worry about the threads coming undone and falling apart. I bought several medium baskets to better organize my bathroom linen closet. In those baskets, I’ve put a hair dryer, extra toilet paper rolls, hand towels, and some cleaning supplies. They would’ve looked unorganized and messy by themselves, but the baskets give some structural tidiness. And grabbing what I need in the morning is easy as well.

The Savannah Baskets don’t have the foul smell some wicker baskets have. If the dimensions are right, I’d prefer these over other cheaper alternatives because they’re sturdier and should last longer.
