Simplehuman Foldaway Squeegee
A good quality squeegee is a must when it comes to shower cleaning as it effectively removes the pesky watermarks. It also serves a practical, safety purpose as well since removing pools of water keeps the shower floor dry. I’ve used a fair number of squeegees over the years, and this foldable squeegee from Simplehuman is my latest purchase.
One of the selling points of this squeegee is that it’s foldable and comes with a suction cap for mounting. And I’ve been generally satisfied with Simplehuman’s products, so that counts, too.
The squeegee is designed in Torrance, CA but manufactured in China, as most products are these days. It comes with a 5-year warranty.
The components are simple – a squeegee and a suction holder.
The blade is sharp and angled for a smooth glide across glass or tile surfaces, and it does a good job at removing watermarks and puddles of water that are collected during the shower.
Once folded, the squeegee takes up very little space, keeping the shower look neater and clutter-free.
The handle is made from die-cast zinc, and the holder is made from anodized aluminum. The handle has a nice weight to it, so the weight gets distributed evenly throughout the blade.
The suction cap works fine and has a good grip.
The “foldable” sticker is removable.
You can fold and unfold the squeegee by pressing the black button in the middle.
All in all, the squeegee performs phenomenally and removes all traces of water after a shower. Whether my husband would use it every time is another question, but at least I'm doing it :)
