What are your favorite Kit Kat flavors?

Japan has so many different KitKat flavors, and I love trying out new flavors every time I visit Japan. The green tea-flavored KitKats are pretty well-known in the US market now, but have you tried chestnut-flavored KitKats? What about the caramel pudding ones?

These are the 6 flavors I recently bought and sampled. In Japan, there are dozens of KitKat flavors, and I still haven't tried them all!

This is Orange Chocolate KitKat.

Surprisingly orange and chocolate go really well. The citrusy and tangy flavor enhances the sweet chocolate flavor, and it may be my favorite among the six.

And there's the classic matcha - white chocolate infused with matcha. It has the perfect blend of sweetness and matcha flavor.

It's always on my shopping list every time I plan my visit to Japan - I must've eaten hundreds of these by now.

The Caramel Pudding-flavor is a quintessential Japanese flavor. Japan is well-known for its custard puddings, so obviously Japanese need to have caramel pudding-flavored KitKats.

The Chestnut-flavored KitKats usually make their debut in the fall, as Japanese and other Eastern Asian countries harvest a lot of chestnuts in late September to early October. Roasted chestnuts are so delicious, by the way!

And this is the new one!

Called the Double Biscuit, this is apparently the first dual-flavored KitKat to ever appear in Japan, according to Nestlé. They are essentially whole wheat wafers and classic KitKat milk chocolate, and they are predictably delicious.

This is the Whole Wheat KitKat.

They are made with whole wheat flour and are marketed towards health-conscious chocolate lovers.

I'm limiting myself to 3 KitKat packets a day, otherwise, I'll gobble the whole thing up in no time.

I would rate the flavors in the following order - Orange Chocolate, Matcha, Chestnut, Double Biscuit, Caramel Pudding, and Whole Wheat.

Although I liked the Whole Wheat KitKats, they weren't particularly special, so I rated those the lowest.

When you get a chance, try the Orange Chocolate Kitkats - such a refreshingly pleasant flavor!
